Juan Pineda Fabra is the Systems Engineering Director (Senior Head of Department) for the Aerospace & Defense division at Akkodis Spain. He holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering (Energy), a MSc in Aerospace Engineering, and an International Master’s in FEM and CAE Simulation. 

With more than 20 years of experience (almost 13 in Akkodis), Juan combines deep technical expertise in systems engineering with strong leadership in large-scale engineering operations. He currently leads a team of over 230 engineers, delivering high-impact solutions to major industry players such as Airbus, Indra, and Navantia. 

His background spans thermal-fluid dynamics, environmental control systems (ECS), propulsion, flight physics, and multidisciplinary system integration, with extensive experience across the full engineering lifecycle, including requirements, V&V, certification, and MBSE. 

In his current role, he focuses on driving innovation and performance through digital transformation, while strengthening engineering capabilities, scaling delivery models, and supporting business growth in complex Aerospace and Defense programs.
